El Papiolet: every nice village has a square and a village pub. Societat Cultural de Papiolet is your first stop. The pub serves a perfect lunch as well.

Llorenç del Penedès is 2 kilometres from home. The picture shows our favorite pub El Gastro. The village has 17 restaurants and pubs, 3 supermarkets, a great fish shop and butcher, an enormous swimming pool and offers many more options.

The photo shows Montserrat, the holy mountain, near Barcelona. This mountain attracts many pilgrims, but also day trippers. During summer there are a lot of activities and concerts. Check the daily agenda. Other interesting nature areas are for example beyond Tarragona, such as the Montsant where a waterfall clatters down, where hermist used to live. Beautiful breathtaking nature. And when you are there, don’t forget to visit one of the best wine villages like Priorat. Behind the Montserrat you will arrive in the Ebro area, rough and impressive as well. But also nearby you will find beautiful nature. El Papiolet is at the foot of the Penedès. When you visit cities like Barcelona or Tarragona, you can also take the train from Coma Ruga. Very easy, you don’t have to park the car, and the train stops on different locations in the cities. Stroll around in this area and you’ll find many Roman settlements. The Via Augusta runs along the coast

This Market is incredible. Take a day at least. And enjoy the music food and nice stuff you can get here. There are so many good markets, I will give you this link for an orientation

There are many beaches close to home. In 12 minutes you park the car along the beach in Coma Ruga with the palmtrees that grow on the beach. You can walk if you want to the beaches of Francas or Roda de Bara or Creixell. There are al lot of nice beachbars. For lunch I can recommend Vila dels Angels in Coma Ruga, there is also a nice cocktailbar next to puerto deportiva Roda de Bara.

Calafell en Sitges are two beaches in the other direction. Again a lot of possibilities for eating and drinking. I am fan from Rachels Tapas Restaurante in Calafell/Beach.
